In addition to serving as an advisor and committee member for students, an article reviewer for journals, and a member of various committees, 

over the years, I have also... 

sung in university and local choirs, recorded literary and academic audiobooks through Learning Ally for students with dyslexia and other text access barriers, participated in language tutoring and conversation partner programs (e.g., Interexchange Teach English in France), and worked as a bilingual service intern for the non-profit that founded my hometown's free clinic, among other voice-centered service work.
